This first-floor condo at Dunes Village Resort is a family favorite for good reason — guests rave about the unbeatable location that puts you steps from the beach, pools, waterparks, and an on-site Starbucks and restaurant. Families with young kids especially love how easy it is to pop in and out throughout the day, and the indoor waterparks are a lifesaver on rainy days. The room is clean, spacious, and offers great ocean and pool views, though a few guests mention it's a bit outdated (but still perfectly comfortable and functional for a beach vacation).

Excellent place to stay

Myself, spouse and 7 year old stayed here for 2 nights. This is a great place to stay and value. The room had more spay then what I thought it would, and even though it’s right next to the restaurant and pool the noise level was very low. I loved the fact that we could use the pools/parks at BOTH buildings. This is right on the beach and this beach is a great place to find shells if you’re a shell lover like myself. The condo is very close to everything you could want to do. Shopping and extra fun. There’s so much to do. We will definitely be returning.

Worth the Money

We had a great time at the dunes village resort. They have 2 water parks, 2 lazy rivers, and 2 pools. There are two separate towers and you have access to both. The resort also has a spa, I personally didn’t use it but I imagine that’s a nice treat. The condo itself it located on the bottom floor, you do have to walk up three flights of stairs so the luggage cart is difficult to take up the stairs, but we just parked it at the bottom of the stairs and unloaded it there. You are kind of in the lobby, but I personally didn’t hear any noise from that. The only noise that I did hear was the door beside the condo because that is the way out to the oceanfront access, again even with a sleeping infant it didn’t bother me. The room is right on the pool so that is kind of noisy and you can’t really have the curtains drawn if you are still wanting privacy, but that didn’t bother us personally. We just kept them close. Overall with the amenities this place offers, it is so worth the price. They also even have a Starbucks right outside the room, and two restaurants. One offers breakfast and the other offers lunch and dinner. I would skip the breakfast though, unless you’re just wanting to stay close to the room. Very very worth it. The host was also very responsive, but I didn’t have any troubles with anything so I didn’t need to bother her during the stay. They also have three kiddie pools, one was unfortunately closed but that wasn’t a problem. Room was overall pretty clean.

Great Experience!

We have stayed at this resort multiple times, however this was the first time with Julie. We had a graet time per usual. The room was great. First floor, which we loved for quick easy access to the pool and restaurant next door. We will definitely book again!

This is our second time booking this Airbnb. We have two toddlers and staying in the first floor makes everything easier. We have access to the restaurant, indoor/outdoor pools, and beach access all outside of our room. The room is always clean and provides everything we need for an amazing stay. We will be booking again soon.

Place was great! Room actually in great location to all amenities with two kids in and out of pools throughout the day! Waterpark great for all! Room overall quiet considering being right next to pool and Cafe. Waterpark open till 11pm which was great, downside is all the bars at resort close at 9pm. Would highly recommend to friends/family!

The location of the Condo was unmatched! We stayed over the 4th of July and had such a blast. So much fun for the kids with all the activities on site. Amazing views of the beach. The space was perfect for my family (including an 8 year old and a 3 month old). The condo is a little outdated and could use some love, but it served its purpose for our stay!

Great spot in Myrtle Beach! Steps away from the beach/pool. Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do at the condo! We traveled with two toddlers and they had a blast at the pool/waterparks. The “makeup” area was a perfect fit for a pack n play with slumberpod over it which eliminated the need for a separate room. Would stay again if we travel back to Myrtle Beach!

This was a great location, with lots of things to do for kids. I loved the room being right there at the pool and ocean front! It’s super close to the front of the building along with being close to outdoor pools and the indoor waterpark!

We booked a couple of days at the very last minute just to grab the kids and get away. This place was AWESOME from the water parks to the beautiful ocean view to the convenient location I can’t express enough how well this room suited our family. My wife needed as few steps as possible due to some knee problems and this place is right beside everything at the resort and on the first floor! Everything in Myrtle beach is within short driving distance as well. We had a great time and will definitely look to book again!

Julie’s place was excellent! This is probably the easiest condo in the place to access- first floor, next door to a restaurant, and the shortest walk to the beach and Water Slides! I’m so glad I booked this place, knowing how unpredictable weather can be. The kids had a blast the entire stay. We went on Spring Break for a one night, Friday-Saturday stay. My kids were able to sleep fine (no loud partying, etc). The beach was much less populated than nearby areas.

Julie’s place was perfect especially when traveling with children. There are two water parks on premises, multiple pools and hot tubs, easy beach access, and a playground for the kids. The restaurant and bar were right next door to the room. The area was safe and walkable. After arriving we asked to change our departure date and Julie’s team responded in a timely manner and were very accommodating to our changes. Definitely recommend staying here!

This condo was the absolute best because of the location. It was on the bottom floor, a few steps from the bar and restaurant a few more steps from Starbucks, which in my opinion extremely important as I am a huge Starbucks fan and the convenience of it being on the bottom floor, mints, everything to me you were only a few steps from everything including both pools. I will definitely return in the summer.
