Excellent place to stay

Excellent place to stay. 100% will look to stay here again. Beautiful view, comfortable beds, very clean and tidy. Pools were pretty cool had something going on there everyday. Very easy access to the beach with a place to rinse the sand off before coming back in to the hotel area. I thought the price was amazing for the location and the amenities on site. Julie herself was very proactive and communicated a lot before we arrived, let us enjoy our vacation without any messages and reminded of us checkout steps the evening before checkout. Very convenient. 10/10

We enjoyed our stay at Myrtle beach! The only issue we had is we didn’t have the room code when we arrived so we had to wait 20 minutes before we could get into our condo. The view was beautiful and the room was clean!

Julie’s property at Ocean Reef was a great place for our family to enjoy Myrtle Beach together. The huge list of amenities on the property added a lot to our enjoyment. The pools being open til 11 was great! Julie was very helpful from start to finish. When a day prior to our vacation came available, she made an offer at a discounted rate to add that day to our itinerary. She made sure maintenance dealt with a minor issue very quickly! Her communication was stellar and we’ll definitely seek out her properties for future trips.

Third time is the charm!

This was my third stay at Ocean Reef with Big Fish since April 2024. My rooms have always been clean and comfortable! Ocean Reef is an excellent resort with great amenities. I like this resort especially for the location. It’s convenient to shopping, entertainment and dining. I love the easy check in and no hassles! Big Fish is now my go to for my beach vacations!

Open, airy, one of the biggest studios around. Utd beds, linens, comfy beds/pillows, thick fluffy towels, definitely starting to show signs of use. Balcony is a waste high concrete rail, with a metal railing on top of that. This room is great for families with littles, plenty of room for a pack&play. The room and Julie get 5 stars. The resort for this stay gets a 2 star. Construction is 90% complete. Only 3 working elevators for the whole resort. Pool states it closes at 11pm they shut the power between 10:30-10:45pm. The pools are chaos and the attendant will let little kids fill all the hot tubs from open to close and never make them get out. Even with it being spring break there were plenty of places to lay out. Loved this is the very north end of MB. This is my 4th or 5th stay with Julie and we always seek out her rentals! Tons to do here just have to be patient with some of the amenities! Game room, gym, bar/restaurant were all nice. Great price great host!

This was a perfect stay in regard to simplicity. Although the hotel side is busy, it was easy to check in and get right to the room. Most of our time was spent at the beach so we did not need much, and this was perfect in that way. Everything we needed was in the room or in the complex. Thank you!

Last minute getaway for Father’s Day Wknd! Had a minor hiccup with other tenants but once i reached out to Julie she handled it quicker than I could sit down😇 Overall it was a great stay and all hosts were very attentive to our needs! Can’t wait to return.

Excellent accommodations and as described in all descriptions and photos. Will stay here again as long as its availability is there for dates needed. Hosts were very responsive although we were there early and would let us check in(send door code) till exactly 4pm which was a bit rough after driving 13 hours. This is only thing that was a bit frustrating even though room was ready to go. Resort was very nice a clean.

We were so pleased with the room. The oceanfront balacony was what we came for. Beautiful view and we were surprised how little you heard other guests on their balconies. The beds linens were pristine and the beds comfortable, the towels were pristine as well. Tub was immaculate. The kitchen has very basic utensils. BYO can opener. The appliances were clean. We were not expecting the room to be as nice as it was. Nicer than the photos in our opinion. We were concerned by the 50 pt rental contract, but I guess you need to cover everything these days. Ocean Reef staff was friendly and the amenities were great. Overall we were really impressed by the location, resort and room. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Julie and staff for allowing us to extend our stay, and for the quick responses! We’ll be back!!
