This is a strictly non-smoking room. Please be aware that this is a privately owned condo, not a hotel room. We kindly ask that you treat it with the same care and respect as you would your own home. If any issues should arise, we will make every effort to address them promptly, but please note that there is no onsite 24/7 presence.

Seamless and relaxing

Positive: Location was perfect and close walking distance to a ton of restaurants, shops, and activities. The Ocean Reef Resort always has music playing around the pools, and we even got to karaoke one night. The poolside bar / restaurant was very convenient. Our one maintenance request was answered quickly. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and owner/Big Fish was very communicative. Negative: Not that we didn’t like it, but just a heads up that hotel housekeeping does not come to this condo for any reason since it is privately owned. All cleaning must be done yourself, so sandy floors must be self swept and/or mopped, as well as provided linens must be washed in-house.

We loved staying here! We had 4 adults and 2 kids (one of which was under 2). Julies place had tons of space for all of us. You could see the beautiful oceanfront our balcony! The amenities were super great and it was right on the beach! The only negative was the A/C would only stay at 70 no matter what temp you put it on. The first day it wasn’t like that so I’m assuming it’s not a consistent problem. It also would have been nice to have a swifter or a better broom/dustpan to keep the floors free of sand. Otherwise, this was a great budget and family friend place! Would definitely come back!

They were super accommodating on such short notice. I was worried about booking last minute but it was perfect for our needs. We had a great time! We definitely plan on returning. Also thought it was a nice touch checking to see if we checked in ok and if we had everything we needed. Even checked in to see if we made it home safely.

The host was right on top of everything that we needed. Very accommodating. Was wonderful to pull up and everything be right there. Easy access to the beach and the pools. Nice to have three bedrooms with two full baths. Have stayed at a lot of Airbnb‘sand this one was one of my favorites. When we need the extra room, we will definitely be trying to book the same place.

This condo was great for my family and me. Beautiful ocean front condo with the waterpark for the kiddos. Super close to restaurants, and shopping. It definitely needs some updated decor, and more kitchen items in it, but over all great for the price. Not Julie’s fault and nothing she can do about it, but just so everyone is aware parking at this resort is very tight if you have someone that needs handicap parking so just be cautious.

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Reef Resort hosted by Julie at Big Fish Rentals. Self check-in was smooth and easy. The room was spacious and had great views. We love the amenities provided at the resort (hot tubs, pools, beach access). Julie was responsive when contacted about a light fixture needing new bulbs. Replacements were provided early the next day at our convenience. The only thing slightly lacking was the cleanliness. I do not fault Julie for this, as I’m sure they have hired help. The dryer lint trap was packed. It appeared to have not been emptied in weeks. The laundry closet was a bit untidy (sand/debris scattered on floor, empty wrapper on top of laundry unit). The tile floor could use a thorough scrubbing. We also needed to move a nightstand in one bedroom to make it more toddler appropriate, and underneath was filthy (candy wrappers, small toys, dirt/dust accumulation). All that said, we enjoyed our stay and would return. It was a good price, and a broom was provided. 😉

On point! Exactly what we wanted. Great price and had everything you needed. Julie was super responsive and communicated excellent. We only had 1 problem, couldn’t get the TV on in master, but we had others. Definitely would stay again!

Everything was great except the smell of marijuana in the airbnb as soon as we came in and it smelt like marijuana at all times on the balcony but besides that everything else was great and we enjoyed every minute of it when we could!

Overall this was a great stay and the resort amenities were excellent. Great price for a place on the beach that is convenient to all Myrtle Beach attractions. Would stay again but maybe not during peak busy periods. Crowds were minimal when we stayed the week before Memorial Day so I can’t speak to holidays and summer crowds.

The condo was clean. The beds were comfortable. The air worked great and the view from the balcony was amazing. The decor was dated with no theme whatsoever and did not have a beachy feel to it but it did look like the pictures. The pool was clean and nice sized. All of the staff in the complex were friendly and helpful. This was a girls trip and we all had a great time and enjoyed having the three bedrooms and two baths. Thanks Julie!

We had a beautiful view of the beach. The water was still too cold to swim but the heated pools, hot tubs and lazy river were a hit with the kids. Everything was close so shopping was easy to get to. The restaurant in the hotel was very accessible and accommodating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone. We are already planning our next stay.
