Our stay at this beachfront hotel was fantastic! The location couldn’t have been better just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and entertainment. We rarely had to use our car because everything we wanted was so close. Even when we did drive, attractions and other destinations were only a short trip away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The resort itself was beautiful, and while we didn’t spend much time at the pools, they looked clean, well-maintained, and inviting. The lazy river especially looked like a great place to relax and have fun with family or friends. Overall, the combination of the unbeatable location, easy access to nearby attractions, and attractive resort amenities made this a wonderful place to stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway and would happily stay here again on our next visit!

Parking was terrible at night the parking lot was super full had to circle around for about 10-15 minutes until a spot got open i know this isnt our host problem just wanted to state it sandy beaches needs to address better parking overvall Great experience thank you!

The location of this rental was wonderful. It’s right on the beach and near lots of restaurants and other activities. There is plenty of space inside the unit and it came with just enough basics for our stay. Julie was always very responsive when I need to ask any questions.

Everything was great

Everything was great! 3 minor things that could be improved 1. The water in the shower doesn’t get super hot 2. The blinds on the balcony don’t shut completely and it doesn’t lock. Overwall we enjoyed it and will be back! 🙂

Weekend getaway all in all it was a great stay

Positive: I loved the view from the balcony. It was clean for the most part. Definitely smelled way better than a different room I stayed in last year! The amenities on property were mediocre. The one pools ceiling is fixed from last year so that is a plus. Definitely one of my go to hotels for the price. They have everything you need in the room fridge and stove were clean. Did not need any of the kitchen stuff but they had pots and pans plates and cups and silverware. Negative: The sliding door did not have a lock on the door and unfortunately those are things that I care about as I have little kids, luckily onky tge baby was with me not my older kids. The one mattresses box spring has a huge stain all down the side, to me thats gross. Also the amount of towels that were stated that we would have we did not have. The bedroom is so dark not enough lighting. There were renovations going on but it wasnt horrible just a little noisy.

Our stay at Sandy Beach resort hosted by Julie with Big Fish Rentals was wonderful! The location was superb with direct access to the beach and access to several pools and amenities. Although the unit did not have a coffeemaker, toaster, large pots and pans, or a washer/dryer in the unit, these were not deal-breakers, as fresh, hot coffee was available each morning downstairs in the resort lobby, and coin-operated laundry facilities were in the building on another floor. The unit was tastefully decorated, spacious with lots of seating and sleeping spaces, and with amazing views of the beach. Julie was very quick to respond when we had questions. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Sandy Beach resort when visiting Myrtle Beach.

GREAT! I love booking with Julie I never have any issues at any of her places she’s honestly a great host and responses quickly to any comments or concerns you have. We just couldn’t help but stay an extra night and it was very quick and easy to book that with her plus the deal for an extra night was just a no brainer😌 very happy about our stay. The pools were amazing heated indoor and outdoor pools with hot tubs and it’s close by to many stores and lots of things to do

Great communicator…very minor problem with bedroom tv that was quickly fixed. Resort was clean as well. Excellent oceanfront view. Everything was functional and quite adequate as an oceanfront rental. Would rehire with Big Fish Rentals. Check-out/clean-up was not burdensome.

The condo was exactly what we expected! It matched the listing description and photos so no surprises. We loved how close it was to the beach, it was such an easy walk to the chairs and water. It could probably do with a few upgrades like the carpet and appliances you can tell have been well “loved”, however everything was working and cleaned to our expectations. There were a few places that could use a good deep clean (like behind the Murphy bed when you pull it down, and under furniture) but that didn’t really bother us because the rest (the most important like kitchen, bathroom, and beds/linense!) were cleaned well. We would definitely stay again!

This is a great place, the only negative thing is the pull out bed had a smell to it. Other than that, I have no complaints! 10/10, great kid friendly resort & within walking distance to many places. It was the perfect place for the price & a has a beautiful view from the balcony. My family and I would definitely stay here again!

Mrs Julie is a kind woman who was very on top of things during our stay, she gave very clear instructions on how to get in and around the place, as well as gave us great recommendations for places to eat dinner at! We enjoyed the location and it was right near the strip. The only small issue was one of the beds was not super clean but we were perfectly fine making do! Would definitely recommend and definitely would stay again!

Enjoyed our stay. The location is nice for walking around the beach town area. Kids enjoyed the pools and easy beach access. Nice to have two separated sleeping areas. Furniture in the living area is older but it was a very fair price for the view/accommodations. We would certainly stay here again. Host was wonderfully responsive and friendly.

Good Airbnb, lots of rules but they were easy to follow. Mostly common sense for being in a beach town. Location was nice and close enough to most things in the area. The unit was nice and was worth the money paid for it.

Julie is a great host, very responsive with questions and concerns. Room was clean. Resort was nice 3 pools and 3 hot tubs. Had to pay for an outdoor chair that broke when I sat down for morning coffee, it was an outdoor older plastic chair, all i did was sit down, i notified her right away, still got charged 20 bucks but I guess that’s just how it works with airbnb. Id still go back

I read some reviews where people complained about the rules. To me every single rule is common sense and should be followed! Julie was very helpful prior to our visit with providing answers to questions. I would not hesitate to stay with Julie again! Best experience to date and we’ve been coming to MB for well over 20 years.

I have been visiting Myrtle for years so my review is based on other oceanfront places I’ve stayed in the same area. It’s a shore hotel so they all have the same scenario. Rental was as expected and looking at the other reviews I have to disagree with some things. There were no roaches and the AC worked better than expected. I think it’s been fixed. One of our friends was actually freezing in the bedroom. It had everything we needed including all linens and towels which were new and clean. We had arrived just as housekeeping was finishing up so we saw all they put into cleaning the unit. Even though the listing doesn’t show it, there is a 3rd bed, a Murphy bed. Can probably use a newer mattress or topper as it’s very springy. Can sleep 2 on it. The bathroom is updated but the rest of the unit is not but again it’s comparable to other hotels in the same area. We had an issue with a leak in the bathroom, owner was very responsive and it was fixed promptly.

The description made it sound like we needed to supply toiletries but that was all supplied when we got there. Lots of clean towels available, comfy beds. There are 2 queens in 1 room and the living room has a sofa and a hide a bed. There also is a door to separate the rooms. The hotel has 3 large pools, a lazy river, 3 hot tubs and a water play area for kids! Super cute. View from the room balcony is amazing! We we’ve very pleased with our stay.

Definitely fit what we were looking for! The view was definitely the best part and the heated pools/hot tubs were very nice. I feel like there could have been a better system at restocking necessities, such as toilet paper, towels, etc. because the front desk wouldn’t allow us, which just added an extra step to everything. The room was clean and spacious, definitely be aware of the ice machines/laundromat (payment necessary)/fitness room on the 4th floor. I believe there is a bug-issue on the 4th floor that should be addressed, but my floor had no issues with that. Close proximity to the boardwalks and beach made this trip so much easier. Would definitely recommend 🙂

It was convenient to get everywhere quickly whether driving or walking. There was a smell that i think was just from the carpet. It is old and dingy and could use some updating. But for the $ it was a great stay.
