This is a privately owned condo, not a hotel room—please treat it like a home. Keycard info and pickup instructions will be provided for a smooth check-in.

Your stay includes bed linens, towels, washcloths, and starter supplies (trash bags, hand soap, toilet paper).
Beach chairs/umbrellas available for rent from lifeguards.

No daily maid service—cleaning or towel exchange can be arranged for a fee if needed.

This resort offers 3 pools, a kiddie pool, and a lazy river. You’ll find jacuzzi’s on the oceanfront, for luxurious evenings in the warm water with a beach view. There are also indoor pools and a whirlpool, along with a sauna, gift shop, and more. There is also a restaurant, lounge, and coffee shop. The tropical landscaping around the many pools is just gorgeous. Some summer afternoons the resort will host a DJ at the pool area while you swim.

Oceanfront Penthouse

This top floor unit is small, simple and adequate. I spent most of my time in the room and on the balcony due to an injury just prior to our stay so I think I had more time to notice petty things that I would normally have missed. Nevertheless, it was clean enough and met our needs. Julie was helpful and just a message away. I’d rent it again. Love the location.

I had a great stay at this condo. It is a great value. The view from the balcony overlooking the beach is beautiful. There was plenty of room for three people, one just had to sleep on the pull out couch. Beach cove, where the condo is located, is a great location. It is right on the beach, and just minutes from sc 17 which is the main avenue in the area. The beach was busy but not overcrowded.

Family spring break

Great location. I brought my 3 young children down and the multiple pools, hot tubs and easy access to the beach were so convenient to keep them busy. It’s also a nice walk or quick drive to Barefoot Landing, mini golf and restaurants.

Overall, very good! Compared to various past vrbos & BnB- this one was sparsely supplied ( no coffee, only salt and pepper, and frying pans were in bad shape( we bought one). One other suggestion would be to clean the balcony chairs ( very grimy) . We gave a stab at it, but really needed a deep ckean!

Big Fish Rentals / Beach Cove resort.

As I saw in previous reviews, the property is showing some age but not to the point that it is run down. The unit was very comfortable with great views. Julie’s follow up and constant communication added a personal touch and it was appreciated. Afternoons by the pool were most enjoyable. The area is clean with plenty of chairs and. Tiki bar with great music playing. I have no reservations in recommending this property.

The Penthouse was great!! The view was spectacular. It was everything I was hoping for. A great place to stay for a couple or small family. I was needing some “beach therapy” and found this place on a whim. Super price for 3 nights. On the eve of my departure Julie asked if I wanted another night since is was not booked. She gave me a super deal so I decided to stay. When I return to the beach, this will be the first place I try to book.

It was great for the price we paid. (We stayed in January) You can see the beach well. The one thing I did not like was there was a door that joined two rooms together (like in a hotel). The problem with that was the smells coming from the room next door. When we arrived there was a weed smell coming through and later on a cigarette smell. When I messaged the host, one of their assistants told me to tell security. When I told them that wouldn’t be very helpful for the smell immediately, and suggested them keeping an air purifier in the room, they offered to call the office to request an ozone machine. I would recommend taking a high-powered air purifier with you since there is a door that allows smells in from the next room. If it’s possible, I think it’d be helpful for the hosts to cover that door.

It was a nice stay as usual.

During check-in, found several issues that needed work right away. Most of the issues were fixed, some were not. During my stay one of the lamps started coming on by itself, it has a bad switch. It would be nice if someone walked thru before the renter shows up. The only thing that could have made it better is if the living room TV was a bit bigger. I have that same size in my bedroom at home. They are working on upgrading the elevators, but it was not too inconvenient because not too many people there.
