From the 23rd floor, ocean views stretch from every room in this condo—guests love watching distant Ferris wheels light up at night and catching both sunrise and sunset from the huge balcony. The split-bedroom layout gives families and couples plenty of privacy, while the fully stocked kitchen (complete with beach chairs and umbrella) makes it easy to settle in like you're home. Guests consistently call this the cleanest property they've stayed in, and the peaceful, secure building feels more like a private retreat than typical Myrtle Beach—perfect for unwinding to the sound of waves.

We enjoyed our stay. We have always wanted to stay at Maison Sur Mer since the early 90’s and now we can check that off the family bucket list. The place was well designed,clean,quiet and relaxed . The views especially at sunset is amazing. You could see all the way past the Ferris wheel at the Boardwalk and the Ferris wheel at Broadway at the beach at night. Our biggest complaint is an extra key card is needed when you have more than 2 people and not being able to park in the garage.

We had an excellent stay and would absolutely recommend this condo! The location couldn’t have been better—the beach was just steps away, and the views were absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place for a family vacation, with a clean pool, a fun game room, and a very welcoming community that made us feel right at home. The condo itself was spotless and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, which made our stay even more convenient. A couple of small things to note for future guests: most of the patio doors didn’t lock properly, so we hope those can be repaired. Also, there were no kitchen paper towels/tissues provided, so you may want to bring your own. Overall, these were minor issues compared to what was otherwise a fantastic stay. The location, amenities, cleanliness, and family-friendly atmosphere made this a wonderful place to vacation, and we’d happily stay here again!

This is our second visit to Maisons -Sur Mer, Myrtle Beach. We enjoy the location for its quietness. Our stays have been prior “peak season”, March and late May. The condo description was spot on. The kitchen was very well equipped. We plan on returning.

Great layout- ocean views from every room. Huge balcony- able to see both the ocean and sunsets from the balcony. Was still offseason, so we were not able to access the tiki bar, but the pool area was very nice. As noted in other reviews, yes there are a lot of rules and regulations at this condominium complex BUT we no longer travel with children, so a more peaceful and relaxed atmosphere was exactly what we prefer. The unit itself was one of the nicest you will find- everything has been updated. In fact, we would love to know the make of the king bed- it was so comfortable we want to purchase one just like it! Highly recommend= you will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately was not able to stay in original rental due to emergency maintenance. A list of about 10 other options were offered, for the same price. I did take a little to review locations and change reservation, but still able to check in within a timely manner. Was hoping for hot tub on site, and in addition to the main pool, they only had a 1 ft deep sitting/kid pool.

Great location. Quiet area with little traffic. Was away from the more commercialized areas. Short drive/walk to restaurants and stores. Beach was very walkable. The condo was clean and well stocked. The layout was perfect.

Excellent communication with the Host/Rental Company. The condo was extremely spacious, clean, and had everything we could ask for. The building is extremely secure, which made us feel very safe and welcoming. The drink prices at the bar are very reasonable. And let’s not forget the wonderful views from the 23rd floor balcony. We will definitely book again.

Absolutely gorgeous condo with a breathtaking view and peaceful atmosphere. We could not hear a single sound from anyone else, which made it feel like a private oasis. Check-in was easy, the kitchen was well stocked, and everything was spotless and comfortable. The furniture was comfortable, and the place had much more room than we needed, though it would easily fit a family of four or more. The only note is that there are a lot of rules, but it was actually nice to know all the details ahead of time. Through Airbnb, everything felt worry-free and straightforward.

Felt very safe, very quiet. Oh and can’t forget the tic tac toe board on the dining room table that created a battle lol

the location is perfect for relaxing, the view is stunning, private, and hypnotic. the home is just like the pictures but better. it felt like we were right at home. the beds were comfortable and the cozy soft blankets that were in the closet were perfect at the end of a long day in the sun. check in was smooth, communication with Julie was top notch, she was very attentive to any questions we had and checked in during our stay. we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area! my only regret was not booking for a longer stay! we absolutely can not wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and clean. Beautiful view. Very close to the beach. Loved sitting out on the patio listening to the waves. Check in was easy. Secure building. Restaurant/bar across the street. Julie was very responsive to any questions. We would have liked to have 2 key cards to get in the building and to get to and from the beach (locked gate) as we had 4 adults, and it would have been nice for each couple to have one, but we made it work. It was a great place and we would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to unwind then look no further. Located on the quiet side of Myrtle Beach in a retirement building this condo has a spacious layout with plenty of room and gorgeous ocean views. The patios were a huge draw for the whole family! The kids liked seeing the distant lights of the Ferris wheel and fireworks from the Boardwalk. I spent alot of time in the rocking chairs taking in the sights and sounds. The beach is practically private with easy access and plenty of rise off stations. Though some reviews complained about the “rules” of the building, I would simply say if you are a boisterous family with rambunctious kids then this not the place for you. For us, having this beautiful place to stay and to get away from the rush of everyday life- it was perfect!

My son is based in Sumter, SC. After driving 7 hours to see him on Thanksgiving weekend, I found that every hotel was booked. So on a whim we drove to Myrtle Beach. I found Julie’s listing and even though it was last minute I was able to book it. It was perfect! It looks exactly like the pictures. We were able to take walks on the beach and the restaurant downstairs was perfect for every meal. It was everything (and more) we needed for a short stay. I plan to be back in SC often to visit and we will always check for Julie’s place!

The condo was clean and beautiful, loved the view from the balconies- which came from every room! The property is safe and we enjoyed the pool and being right on the beach! The beach chairs and umbrella were a nice addition we didn’t expect. The only minor issue was that the listing shows a sofa bed in the room descriptions however the sofa does not pull out. We still made it work and really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely book again!

This was my first time using Airbnb. This experience exceeded all of my expectations. The residence was beautiful, updated and immaculate. The view is gorgeous. We never had to wait long for an elevator. My only critique, I wish we had two key cards. You need a key card to access the building, pool, and the beach. I love the privacy and security. I will definitely book this place again.

This place is perfect! It’s very clean, the kitchen is fully stocked, nicely updated throughout. Great pool and pool bar, and easy beach access with friendly neighbors! The beds are very comfortable! The balcony VIEW is amazing! Great location -close to restaurants, Barefoot Landing. We will definitely come back!

This property was above any beyond any of our expectations! My husband and I have traveled to many locations and stayed in many Airbnb’s (and we are also hosts) and this was by far the cleanest property we had ever stayed in! It was perfection, and the view was jaw dropping! This unit is a floor beneath the penthouse so it has to be the best view in Myrtle Beach! The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to make meals minus the food. Plenty of seating at the dining table with views from every angle of the condo! The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms, as well as the entire condo, were wonderfully updated and decorated. The ONLY downside to this property, is that the resort is obviously more residential and they have very rigid rules and check-in procedures. Kids aren’t allowed to play with any balls or toys in the pool. Besides feeling a bit unwelcome by the “security guards” upon check-in, our stay was 10/10!!!

This listing turned out better than expected. Some hotels and stays down in the area can be very run down, and I was very nervous in choosing a good choice for our family stay during our daughters National dance competition. This resort and the Host, Julie couldn’t have exceeded our expectations more. There are more amenities than listed- I found some of the extra things I brought (i.e. ziplock bags, paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, dishes, shampoo, etc) we didn’t need to use because they were provided! This is big when you have a family and have such a large kitchen to utilize! There are even beach chairs, and an umbrella to use! I didn’t even notice this in the description. Overall beautiful view, and amazing location. Also- you won’t find more comfortable beds at any other location. This Host, Julie’s reviews speak for themselves, and is the reason we chose to book with her! You would make the most out of your money by doing so as well!
