Neighborhood
Camelot by the Sea features a great outdoor pool deck with a stunning lawn with lounge chairs and umbrella tables. Camelot’s indoor pavilion with a glass front and potted plants contain a lazy river, free-form pool, a small toddler pool, and a spa tub. A short walk downstairs and enjoy the Dunkin Doughnuts coffee show. Stroll down the ocean boulevard to enjoy the many restaurants and shops in the area!

Once you enter through the entryway, the room opens up to two queen beds, followed by the kitchen area with full-sized appliances. Once through the kitchen area, this condo has the main living area that has a private balcony with AMAZING views of the ocean!

This 5th-floor studio delivers stunning ocean views from the balcony where you can see and hear the waves, plus it's in the heart of Myrtle Beach with restaurants, the SkyWheel, and mini golf all within walking distance. location was great, condo was nice! Julie always responded in a timely manner, and seemed to be very sweet. Only issue I had was I paid for early check for 2pm but still was not able to get the door code and check in until 4pm, so I did loose out on $50.

Great view from the 5th floor with easy/fast access to the beach and pools. Kids loved the crazy lazy river. Beds comfortable. No hot water on our last morning but since we were leaving there wasn’t t time to communicate this to the host.

This is the second time we have stayed at one of Julie’s properties. Always a great experience and she’s always friendly and responsive! Will book with Julie again in the future :). Only thing about the location that I was unaware of was that the bar in the pool area is closed and per one of the workers it has not opened at all this season. Other than that, location was great!

If you’re paying extra to check in early be prepared to call the company for the key code as we did not get ours in our inbox nor got a response back until 4pm and waited 45 minutes to get in! Other then that everything was great for a last minute trip. The pools were very convenient and quick access to the beach!

We had a mother and daughter vacation and chose this place and it was perfect for us. Right on the beach, great view and it was also nice that you park in the parking garage and our room was right where we parked so it was a perfect location. Room was nice, can tell it’s used a lot but that’s a given when it’s used a lot. Would use again!!!

Easy Check-In and Helpful Property Owner

Our family stayed here over the New Year holiday. The check-in process was very simple. I wouldn’t even call it a “process”. We were give codes to the parking garage and room door. The parking garage was attached against the building so you could literally park on your floor level and walk right to your room. The room itself could have been a little cleaner.But the best part of my experience was the great customer service! I was able to message Julie with any questions or needs, and she was quick to respond and help. I left an irreplaceable item that meant a lot to me in the room after we checked out. When I realized a few hours later, I called to see if the cleaning crew had found it. They did locate the item and brought it to their office in Myrtle Beach. I am so grateful to Big Fish Rentals for going out of their way to help.

The condo was perfect for a small family. The kitchen had all the basics including a full size oven and 4 burner stove. The bathroom was clean and even provided washcloths for makeup. The beds were super comfortable and I loved that the living area was separate and near the balcony. The view was amazing since it is one the 5th floor. Parking right at the door in the garage was also super convenient. I can’t wait to go back!

Fit what I needed perfectly for a quick last minute stay. I’ve stayed at the camelot before and I’ll probably stay again. My kid loved the pool and lazy river. In a good central location and Julie and her staff were very responsive!!

Beach and Golf Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Camelot by the Sea. We were there for a 2 week golf vacation. Communication with owner/manager was quick and efficient. The location is excellent, close to everything! The beach is beautiful! We fully took advantage of the property amenities. We especially liked the fact that parking is right at the unit’s door. The unit itself is clean, but could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, and additional storage would be appreciated.

Pictures

Pictures area little off on what it actually looks like. There was no coffee maker took multiple text to finally get one24 hours later. Mattress needs replacement. Very lumpy. Closet door don’t shut . Side of refrigerator looks like mold or stained . Pictures show paper towels and things none of that was there . Not even a dish cloth . Just could use some sprucing up.

My family and I had a blast during our 8 nights stay at the 503 Camelot by the sea. The building is really well maintained. Pools and corridors were cleaned regularly. The unit is extremely well located giving access to beach, restaurants and activities by foot but far enough to be quiet when you need time to relax! One really good point also was the access to the parking… With the 503 unit, you can literally park your car 25 ft from the door of the unit. EXTREMELY practical for access to the car and offloading luggages and groceries. On the other hand, the unit was slightly small for a family of 4.. Table for 2 and the kitchenette allows preparation of simple meals (Cereal, toasts, sandwiches, frozen pizza). Don’t expect to prepare a 5 courses meal! Last point for next visitors.. The fridge.. It works, the interior was clean but it is missing the lower shelf and the exterior is ALL rusted. It doesn’t fit with the rest of the unit. Besides this, amazing memories of our stay!

Over all this was a fantastic place to stay at! You get a beautiful view of the ocean. You are at the center of the action, close to everything in the area. The property is clean, the pool area is well taken care of. Main complaints would have to be minor maintenance issues in the room itself. The toilet was not working properly upon arrival. The fridge handles were loose, the vanity light for the bathroom is rusted. A shelf in the fridge was broken, the storage closet bifold was broken. The bifold door for the utility closet was dusty, this is a common issue, just seems for the price per night these issues shouldnt have to be encountered by any tenant during their stay. These issues are minor and did not affect the quality of our stay, but I feel they shouldve been taken care of prior to our stay. Further more the only things that couldve made the price point and stay better at this residence would have been proper maintenance and daily room service for the cleaning fee.

We wanted to find a place for our family to vacation that had easy access to the beach and allowed us to make our own meals. This one was perfect. We could go down to the beach for a little while and come back up for lunch and go back down for a little while and come back up for dinner and then go down for a late night stroll. Julie and her team were very responsive. When we told them we did not have pillows for the pull out couch they showed up with pillows and pillowcases. We enjoyed our stay in appreciated Julie’s attention to details.
