Overall, Julie herself was great

Overall, Julie herself was great. She was quick to respond and was very helpful with any questions or concerns. I think that it should be known that this condo was once a fully functioning hotel and that is NOT the case anymore. Which is fine, but if you get in later in the evening there is no one available to give you your parking pass or wrist bands. The condo/hotel is still very much stuck in that 1990’s hotel vibe era. A few minor updates in the room itself (taking the landline phone jacks out, updating the beds and hotel curtains) would make a much more positive, cozy experience. Now the hotel itself, whew..needs many, many updates. One of the elevators didn’t even go to our floor and the outside elevator buttons stuck at times and you couldn’t even push them to call an elevator. The hotel is pretty empty and rundown. Not inviting and low key kind of creepy and very outdated.

Julie was great to work with and was very responsive to my questions. Would definitely rent from her and Big Fish Rental’s again. Our room was recently remodeled and met our requirements of clean and presentable with up to date amenities. Sandcastle Resort however has opportunities and could use some updating. Pools were less than desirable and had issues with one almost everyday. Resort was not crowded and felt deserted which was ok for us because it was quiet and peaceful all week. Overall enjoyed our stay there, didn’t feel rushed our overcrowded like some of the busier hotels and resorts.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Short walks to restaurants, groceries & cafes. Was amazing being on a quieter section of the beach, but such a quick drive to the main attractions and life of the boardwalk.

Julie’s place was EXACTLY As pictured. The only issues were the door lock it took over an hour to get the correct code, however she was very responsive. the Ac was not working but once my daughter cleaned the filters it ran perfectly. No problem. there is a small wall in the bathroom with some damage. and the pools were closed due to am electric issue- No fault of the owner. also the restraunts and ice cream shop inside were non operable .. Again No fault of the owner. great location. you can walk just a few blocks to the boardwalk and go down the elevator and be in the sand. we had a wonderful quick trip . I even asked for a larger location to fit the whole family in a few weeks.

The view was amazing. I loved the balcony. The room was comfortable and cute and Julie responded very quickly any time I had a question or concern. Check in and out was quick and simple and I loved the fact that it was a keypad. I would definitely stay again!

Julie was a great host! The room was very nice and clean and we really enjoyed our stay there. The only issues we had was with the resort itself, some pools weren’t clean. The restaurant was closed when there were signs that said open. Other than that, easy access to the beach was nice.

Place was cute. Excited to have the ocean right outside our room. Little too high for me on the 12th floor but enjoyed the view from the room. Only down side was Sandcastle it self; said pool was open then had signs none pools opened, and the restaurant that there. Went to try it out. Doors were locked when it was during the open time. The room was cute for just my husband and I. Enjoyed the stay.

This place is great for short getaways since it has all the commodities needed. The kitchen is small but it has all the cutlery and supplies needed to cook, but since there is no door dividing kitchen and bedroom you should consider cooking things that will not leave strong smells. The apartment has every item you need to stay, although the space is small, it is still enjoyable. It’s great view at sea is incredible, and the pools are clean and available all year long. I stayed on winter and I was able to enjoy every minute of it. The apartment also includes menus of restaurants and places to visit and ask for delivery.

I think this may be my new Myrtle Beach spot. If you lease this location, be aware that you can only open the balcony door to go out & come in. If you leave it open to enjoy the ocean air, you will be fined.
