This is my second time staying in a Big Fish Rental and it won’t be my last. Julie is responsive and gives clear instructions. The units are always stocked and clean! I will definitely be booking with them again in the future.

Wonderful stay

the place was perfect, just what we needed

We loved our stay! We will definitely be staying here again. It was peaceful and lots of places to relax. Check in and out was easy and quick!

We stayed 5 nights here. Our stay was great. The room and resort was as described. Room was clean and in great shape. Check in and checkout was easy. Ocean view from the room was great. Plenty of towels and blankets. Kitchen has everything you need including toaster, coffee maker, skillet, tea kettle, silverware, cookware, plates and cups.
We don't have young kids but Compass Cove has a lot of things for young children to enjoy as well including numerous shallow pools inside gated areas. Starbucks on the 1st floor of the building was good to have although only open in the morning. we don't drink but there was a bar in the building as well.
Beach is clean and well kept. 2 chairs and an umbrella rental is $50 day 1 and $30 a day for multi-days. We drove and had our own. If you're staying many days just hit a beachwear store (there's one on every block on Kings road) and buy your own then donate it to someone when you leave if you are flying back. I'd recommend this rental.

Great place for the price!

Staying here was a blessing. We had a spectacular view off of the cozy balcony of the sea and sky, and we were right on the beach. What more could we ask for. The place was clean and well stocked and the air conditioner was perfect!!
Overall, we had a great time. We would definitely stay again.

On a side note: There is a spot over one of the beds where there is peeling paint hanging down- This should be taken care of ASAP for safety reasons. Other than that, all was good. Thank you Julie.

The room was great, exactly what I needed. It was clean and comfy. The staff I spoke with was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Steps from the beach, close enough to restaurants and stores to walk and grab what was needed. The pools at the hotel were great, clean and well maintained.

Negative:
My only real complaint was that off and on one or more elevators was out of order. There was a very long wait to use the one that was still functional.

I was happy with the property. It was as described with the exception of the “umbrella” for use on the beach. It was inadequate, and barely usable. Kept falling down in the firm sand. Better to rent the chair sets on the beach. I did not like some of the regulations required for proof of identity to secure the rental. I was forced into sharing info never, ever requested before, much less required. If the had not been approved and confirmed with VRBO as a trusted partner I would have cancelled the reservation given the “special” requirement of having to share a photo of my personal signature on a clean white piece of paper. That said, the room was clean and included most everything one would need to enjoy the beach for a few days.

Definitely coming back here

We absolutely loved our stay. We have already booked again for next year.

Julie’s place was very nice! It accommodated me and my group and we throughly enjoyed it. The place was very clean and the kitchen was AMAZING! A huge plus was that the place was located right in the middle of everything which was very convenient.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Compass Cove Beachfront Resort through Big Fish Rentals! From start to finish, everything was exactly what we hoped for. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing beachfront location with beautiful views of the ocean.

Big Fish Rentals made the entire process easy and stress-free. Communication was great, check-in was simple, and everything was exactly as described. It was clear that they genuinely care about making sure their guests have a great experience.

Compass Cove was the perfect location for our trip, with easy access to the beach, pools, restaurants, and everything Myrtle Beach has to offer. Waking up and being able to enjoy the ocean right outside was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

We would absolutely recommend Big Fish Rentals to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Myrtle Beach. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be looking to book with them again on our next beach trip! 🌊☀️
